I recently gave a presentation at the annual American Association of

Orthopaedic Surgeons meeting. This meeting was held in February in Las Vegas. I was a co-presenter of an instructional course entitled, "The Degenerative Cervical Spine: What You Need to Know". During this lecture we reviewed the different treatment options for cervical degenerative disease - their indications and effectiveness. This discussion included a review of the spine surgery options and indications including the cervical artificial disc.
